Enrollment Information:
The Alternative Educational Academy (AEA) is a Michigan charter school serving students from grades 6-12 and through 22 years of age. AEA students attend school online as they complete coursework to satisfy the state adopted, Michigan Merit Curriculum.
We currently offer two different learning systems for students to choose from: Plato (provided by Edmentum) or e20/20 (provided by Edgenuity). Students work through their courses at their own pace with the guidance of a Michigan certified teacher.
